The My Horse Player Class Number System is an advanced algorithm that assigns a grade, which we call a "Class Number", to every horse running on nearly every track in this country. This includes foreign horses and first-timers.

Simply put, the higher the number, the better chance the horse has of winning. Our groundbreaking formula takes into account past performance, breeding, strength of competition in previous races, track surfaces, trouble line notes, jockey performance, and other statistically relevant factors.

The algorithm was first developed by professional handicappers over a decade ago, and has been honed by computer programmers through years of real-world testing. You will not find a more accurate number anywhere.

Unlike a speed figure, which lets you know how fast a horse ran in the past on certain days, a Class Number gives you a better snapshot for how competitive a horse is at this moment in their career. It takes into account much more than just a stopwatch.

The beauty of the Class Number is that it's one number that can be used to compare horses, no matter where they are running; you can compare horses in the same race or horses across the country.
